The Abu Dhabi EDITION is one of only 8 luxury boutique hotels of the super-luxury Edition brand. It is located on the waterfront of the upscale Al Bateen Marina, and has a distinctive façade featuring a lattice shell that echo the lateen sails of traditional dhow boats, which were historically built in the area. 

The Abu Dhabi Edition, like its counterparts in New York, London and Shanghai, offers the brand’s renowned ultra-elegant interior with a plush neutral palette for its 198 guest rooms and 57 exclusively serviced residences. The grey oak timber flooring's herringbone pattern, inspired by local basket weaving techniques, contrasts the white marble bathrooms. The floor to ceiling windows are dressed in elegant off-white drapery and offer stunning views of the Abu Dhabi skyline and marina. The walls are clad with beautiful wood paneling. The hotel greets guests with an impressive five-storey lobby and a lounge area incorporating a kinetic art installation. Dining options include Market, featuring health-conscious fare such as organic coffee and raw juices, the Oak Room, a traditional English oak-panelled restaurant, and the Mediterranean-style Alba Terrace, overlooking the marina. A sky bridge connects the six-storey residences building to the main hotel.
